What is an Expungement?
Everyone makes mistakes—some big, some small. But a past mistake shouldn’t define your future. If you have a criminal record and want a fresh start, expungement may be the solution you need to move forward without your past holding you back.
How Does Expungement Work?
Expungement is a legal process that seals arrest and conviction records, preventing them from showing up in background checks. Once your record is expunged in Indiana:
✅ Employers and landlords won’t see past convictions in background checks.
✅ Your record won’t affect job opportunities, housing, or education.
✅ You get a second chance to move forward without stigma.
